Pest Control a universal phenomenon

“We kill to live” is an ad of a Pest Control Company. This brings to light how treacherous the menace of pests has become. The world over while NGOs and Animal Protection Groups are yelling on top of their voices not to kill here is someone glaringly advertising that they kill to live.
Let us understand the word pest and the word control in exclusivity. Any insect, animal or bird that is not useful to human beings in any which way and is becoming a nuisance in one way or the other is considered to be a pest. Some of the commonly accepted pests are bed bugs, roaches, mosquitoes and of course human beings who behave like pests.
Control means giving little or no scope for them to rule or limiting their growth.
Hence Pest Control is not anything that belongs to one country or one continent. It is a universal problem and has to be fought together by sharing information and the remedy for keeping these pests away. No doubt we are all aware of the various pesticides that are available to curtail the activity of pests but this is only in damage control mode currently. Newer research is on to effectively eradicate them so that we need not lookout for preventive measures time and again.
